Technologies We Use
We support the Free and Open Source Software communities and utilize a range of their software projects in the delivery of our applications. We encourage you to learn about Free and Open Source Software and why it's important to us.
Our primary development environment is Ubuntu Linux. Ubuntu Linux is based on the popular Debian distribution which is known for its security and maintenance capabilities.
We utilize PHP, Python and Ruby scripting languages, and prefer the MySQL database server. Our hosting environment relies upon the Apache web server and the Postfix mail server.

The IT world moves pretty fast and staying on top of the latest advancements can be hard work. Here's a few of the technologies that we're keeping our eye on, or using in new projects.
- Ruby on Rails – A web application development framework that allows for rapid prototyping.
- Django – Yet another framework in Python with a fantastic community.
- AJAX – A way to add dynamic information to a web page without the need for a refresh. Check out Google Suggest for a good example.
