- I've got external disks that I take home each night. What makes this better?
Any backup policy that depends on a person will fail one day. People forget and people are too busy. Disks get damaged with the constant travel and people don't enforce or check data integrity. - If it's automatic, how do I know if it's working (or even worse, if it's failed)?
Harmony Backup can be configured to report the status of each backup upon completion. If everything's OK, you'll know, and more importantly, if something's not you'll be able to respond. - Is my data protected during transport from evil people?
Harmony Backup transfers the data from your computer through an encrypted tunnel, similar to how your web traffic is encrypted when you use online banking.
